My friend, artist Komatsuzaki, is holding a solo exhibition.

It has been half a century since I was raised in my hometown of Urawa.
Thirty years have passed since I graduated from graduate school at the University of the Arts and began my full-fledged career in painting.
There were days when I was worried and struggled because I couldn't see the direction I wanted to take with my painting.
A time when he studied abroad in London and Paris, and was overwhelmed by the gorgeous and overwhelming paintings.
Those days when I lost my father, who was a painter, and walked through a pitch-dark tunnel.
At all times, I was surrounded by my mentors and mentors from Urawa, as well as my many friends and acquaintances.
He was saved by thinking of Urawa, a friendly town with a historical climate that nurtured many painters.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to present here.
And while loving this place, being proud of it, and seeking the motif of my heart here,
I continue to draw pictures today.
As long as the eye looking at the object and the hand holding the pencil move,
We will walk down this eternal road step by step.
Please, everyone, please keep my picture in mind even for a moment.
That is the proof of my life and my greatest happiness.
