JXBUB
JXBUB
The Standard
JxBUB eyeglasses, made in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, a world-recognized eyeglass production area, are intentionally simple. This is because we want people to wear it for any occasion, regardless of gender. However, it is obvious that the glasses themselves are of the highest quality. This is because it embodies the pride and warmth of craftsmen with the highest level of skill.
Basic policy
The most important thing with plastic frames (acetate fabric) is polishing. It is no exaggeration to say that it begins and ends with polishing. JxBUB's frames are carefully selected from among the many factories in Sabae, and are carefully polished one by one by craftsmen who put their heart and soul into each frame. No compromises whatsoever.
differential advantage
Normally, other manufacturers complete the process in three stages (rough polishing, intermediate polishing, and final polishing). At JxBUB, rough polishing and intermediate polishing are done by machine, and the most important finishing polishing is done by craftsmen using various tools, and the final polishing is done using sandpaper ranging from 600 to 2000 grit. I spend a lot of time refining my pieces until I feel like I want someone to hang them. Just like a gemstone, the more you polish a plastic frame, the more it shines. By doing so, you can clearly see the sense of luxury and presence. People around you will be more surprised by the shine than the person wearing the glasses.
What you can do with simple glasses.
The design (simple) + color (enjoy) + polish makes it suitable for all ages and genders. This makes it suitable for any occasion, whether it's business, casual, formal, or Japanese attire. It was made so that everyone can hang it, including parents and children, couples, siblings, friends, etc. Please pick up a frame that has been polished with the soul of our craftsmen and hang it up.
Emphasis on comfort
The comfort and fit should feel as if it was made just for you. And I think you will realize that you have found the best glasses.

"Who are you!!"
Symbols and logos that make you think
It may look cute at first glance, but I can almost hear you saying it's scary or that you can't get it out of your head.
That's right, each person feels differently depending on their perspective.
This JxBUB also means that we want people to play it, regardless of age or gender.
By the way, this face symbol is based on the representative Iwata.
"origin"
JxBUB means the alphabet that comes after IWATA in Roman letters for the representative Iwata.
I→J W→X A→B T→U A→B
This means that Iwata himself is moving on to the next stage.
The pronunciation is "Buubu". I don't read Jx.
From this alphabet J → Joy or Japan Japan X → Multiply B → Benigh U → Upright B → Brother
1. I want the people who wear JxBUB glasses (brothers) to become honest and kind people and enjoy life.
2. May you have more fun on Monday, and may your friends become kind and honest people.
3, and as the best gift made by Japanese engineers.
JxBUB frame work process
Glasses considered by craftsmen.
Glasses that keep the craftsmanship alive.
Scrape the outside of the temple with a knife to bring out the edges,
The inside part is where it touches the skin, so I have it rolled up. This is also done by hand, one by one.
By doing so, the best comfort is created.
Keep polishing, polishing, polishing.
``Hand polishing'' without relying on glass polishing is the key.
In any case, polishing is the key to plastic frames.
It is no exaggeration to say that 90% of the results are determined by polishing.
Normally, when polishing a plastic frame, we use glass polishing. This is a drum containing abrasives.
This is the process of inserting the frame and rotating it to give it a shine.
Change the roughness of the abrasive and use it three times: rough, intermediate, and finished.
With a normal plastic frame, the rough scraping is done for 20 hours, but with JxBUB [Buubu], after 20 hours, the corners will come off and become rounded, so the rough scraping will be done for 5 hours, which is 1/4 of the normal plastic frame. As a result, I have to do more hand-polishing work.
Since the rough material has been shortened, it is natural that there will be some small scratches left. It takes a lot of effort and time to polish it through work, so it inevitably costs money.
Attention to detail.
This is the process of filing the joint between the front and temple to align the surfaces.
Using various tools (files), we finish the joint between the brow and endpiece without any gaps or gaps.
I'll go through the troublesome parts.
Finally, use sandpaper from 600 to 2000 grit to remove all minor scratches.
This effort creates the best frame.
This process involves washing away dirt around the hinges one by one using a special detergent.
Achieved through the skill of polishing craftsmen.
It looks like the frame is being dehydrated (dryed) by a machine.
Finally, the most important manual polishing process is ``buffing,'' in which a frame is applied to rotating fibers to polish them.
This is a traditional technique that has been passed down in Sabae since ancient times. The quality of buffing is so important that it is said to determine whether the glasses are good or bad.
If you don't hit the frame straight, you'll end up scraping off the excess. Additionally, if you don't polish the frame evenly, the lines will be wavy when the light hits it.
It is extremely difficult to create a beautiful luster while expressing the edges well.
This is achieved through trial and error at the factory and the skillful skill of the polishing craftsmen.
THE STORY starts here.
It's difficult to put into words why I really like something.
Everything fits perfectly, and my senses are happy.
"I like glasses." JxBUB are glasses that truly awaken your senses.
I would like to try riding a work called JxBUB, which was created by many engineers.
