TR-S stands for "Trail Small." These lenses are designed specifically for trails and feature an anti-fog coating on the inside for excellent fog resistance.
Because these lenses are designed for trails, they have a visible light transmittance of 50% and do not have a high level of light reduction, making them suitable for use in environments where sunlight and shade alternate continuously. They are not suitable for sports such as tennis, where sunlight is constantly strong.
The lens size is slightly smaller than the AF-301TR, making it perfect for those who find the 301TR a little too large. It's the same size and shape as the AF-302WP. The wide lenses on both the top and bottom make it the perfect eyewear for women.
