Beware of victim mentality

When things go wrong, humans tend to develop a sense of victimhood.

They look for legitimate reasons and then blame others or the circumstances around them for why things don't work out.

The reason may be correct. I might not be wrong.

But, no matter how good the reason is, no matter how unconvincing you are, the situation won't change if you stay where you are. The situation will not improve. In fact, it may only get worse.

You cannot control other people or your surroundings. The only person you can control is yourself. So let's just accept the facts and think about how to deal with them.

Actually, to be honest, a little while ago, I myself was beginning to be dominated by this ``victim mentality.''

There are people who try to hold us back even though we haven't done anything wrong. ``Even if I hold you back, it won't affect you at all, right? Don't you have a lot of things to do if you have that much free time?''

But even if you suddenly realize that you're angry at someone you can't see, nothing will happen and it's not good for your mental health. We should do our best to do what we can, and there is still a lot of work to be done.

Goodbye, “victim mentality”!
