WX VALOR is military eyewear recommended by the United States Army's Authorized Protective Eyewear List (APEL) as eye protection to protect the eyes of soldiers during combat. For traditional military eyewear, full-rim frames must have a minimum lens thickness of 2.2 mm or more, and half-rim frames must have a minimum lens thickness of 2.4 mm to comply with Mil-Spec MIL-PRF-32432 (GL). I use extra thick lenses. Therefore, there were major disadvantages such as low optical performance due to distortion of vision due to the prism and increased weight of the eyewear itself. WX VALOR uses high-performance optical SELENITE lenses to keep the lens thickness to an optically superior 2.0mm, and even though it is a lightweight half-rim frame, it achieves amazing performance that clears mil-spec.
