[BJ Classic [REVIVAL EDITION] RIMWAY 02]
In 1930, AO developed a style of eyeglasses called "Ful-Vue," in which the temples were placed higher than the eyes, and obtained a patent for the design.
This style of eyeglasses, which had no bridge in the field of vision to the side of the eye, quickly took the world by storm, and competing manufacturers were quick to pay royalties for its patent.
The most popular model among the Ful-Vue models was the "RIMWAY."
Although the two-point glasses have a delicate appearance due to the brow bar, they boast overwhelming strength and durability that allows them to be used stress-free in daily life. This model was loved by people all over the world from the 1930s to the 1940s and can be said to be a representative work in AO's long history.
At the time, lenses were made of glass and were expensive, so demo lenses for checking the lens shape and lens patterns for processing were often made out of cardboard. This reproduction not only faithfully reproduces the glasses themselves, but also the cardboard lenses and the paper bag the glasses were stored in.
