When the designer was a teenager, James Dean (Jimmy) was a global fashion icon.
He admired everything about the white T-shirt and jeans, the red "Rebel Without a Cause" jacket, and his beloved Porsche 550 Spyder.
Among all of these, what caught my attention the most was his glasses, and James Dean's favorite was Arnel from Tart Optical Enterprises Inc. JIMMY is a work that pays homage to Arnel, and is packed with Mr. Gentleman's thoughts on design, quality, balance, and even the smallest details.
